Jepang Menerima Lebih dari 3 Juta Pengunjung Asing di Bulan Maret

Apr 18 (News On Japan) - Untuk pertama kalinya dalam satu bulan, jumlah pengunjung asing ke Jepang melebihi 3 juta orang, dengan bulan Maret mencatat rekor tertinggi dalam sejarah, yaitu lebih dari 3,08 juta pengunjung.

Menurut Organisasi Pariwisata Nasional Jepang, jumlah pengunjung asing pada bulan Maret adalah 3.081.600, melampaui tingkat sebelum COVID-19 pada bulan Maret 2019 sebanyak lebih dari 320.000 orang.

Lonjakan ini didorong oleh musim bunga sakura, yang biasanya menarik wisatawan, dan dimulainya liburan Paskah pada akhir Maret, yang semakin meningkatkan angka perjalanan.

Ini adalah pertama kalinya sejak survei dimulai pada tahun 1964, jumlah tersebut melebihi 3 juta.

Di antara 23 negara dan wilayah yang disurvei, 17 negara mencatat angka tertinggi untuk bulan Maret, dengan rekor bulanan baru di Asia, Amerika Utara dan Tengah, Jerman, dan Italia. Jumlah pengunjung dari Tiongkok berangsur-angsur pulih, mencapai lebih dari 65% dari tingkat tahun 2019.

Sebaliknya, jumlah orang Jepang yang bepergian ke luar negeri bulan lalu adalah sekitar 1,22 juta, masih berada di kisaran 60% dari angka sebelum COVID-19 sejak musim panas lalu.

Badan Pariwisata Jepang melaporkan bahwa dari Januari hingga Maret tahun ini, pengeluaran pengunjung asing mencapai 1,7505 triliun yen, lebih dari 50% lebih tinggi daripada periode yang sama pada tahun 2019, menandai kuartal tertinggi dalam catatan.
