CICC was established in June 1983 to cooperate and assist developing countries in the introduction of computers and information technology, and to promote computerization thereby for their economic and social development. To upgrade the skill level of information technology for the computer personnel in developing countries, CICC has offered computer training courses as one of the core activities since its establishment.
International Information Science Foundation (IISF)

Established in April 1987 with the support of the information science societies of Japan, and cooperation of the Ministry of Education, Science, Sports and Culture. The foundation wishes to promote the international exchange of ideas among young researchers from both Japan and abroad, and provides financial assistance for travel expenses to international conferences held in Japan in order to stimulate basic research in information science.

The ITOH Scholarship Foundation is a non-profit charitable institute devoted to helping young people pursue academic study that will encourage better understanding between Japan and other countries. The fund provides financial assistance for the study of the Japanese language at Japanese universities and equivalent institutions
