Microsoft cofounder says WWII Battleship Musashi found
Jiji Press -- Mar 04
Microsoft Corp. cofounder Paul Allen said on Twitter Tuesday the Imperial Japanese Navy's World War II battleship Musashi has been found at the bottom of the Sibuyan Sea off the central Philippines.

The billionaire said the crew of his ship found the Musashi on the seabed in waters one kilometer deep.

The tweet was accompanied by two photos, one of which allegedly shows the ship's bow with the Imperial family crest of the Chrysanthemum and huge anchor and the other a handle with kanji characters for "open" and "the main valve handle" inscribed on it.

Completed in 1942, the Musashi was the last battleship that the Imperial Japanese Navy built.
