Japan named best ski destination by Aussie travel magazine
Jiji -- May 20
Japan topped the 2017 world skiing destination rankings, replacing New Zealand, Australia's International Traveller magazine has said.

Readers picked Japan as the best skiing destination thanks to powder snow.

"'Powder, powder, powder' is one of the main reasons Japan was absolutely streaks ahead in this year's skiing results," said the magazine.

It also pointed out that the readers were "rapture over the culture and the food" in the East Asian country.
