Nintendo announces mini Super Famicom for Japan

Jun 27 (theverge.com) - Right on the tail of the SNES Mini Classicâ€™s announcement in the US and Europe, Nintendo has followed up with an equivalent product for Japan. The Nintendo Classic Mini: Super Famicom is based on the systemâ€™s original design, shared by the European version, and comes with a slightly different selection of games.

In Japan, the system will include Panel de Pon, Fire Emblem: Mystery of the Emblem, Ganbare Goemon: The Legend of the Mystical Ninja, Super Soccer, and Super Street Fighter II. These titles replace EarthBound, Kirbyâ€™s Dream Course, Street Fighter II Turbo, Super Castlevania IV, and Super Punch-Out from the US model.
