Current account surplus at $19.4 billion in Feb.

Japanese government officials have released data that measures the country's trade and investment with the rest of the world. They say the current account balance in February stayed in the black for the 44th straight month.

Finance Ministry officials say the current-account surplus stood at about 19.4 billion dollars.

The trade surplus for February came in at about 1.8 billion dollars.

Exports rose 0.9 percent.

Imports were up 17.8 percent.

Apr 10 (ANNnewsCH) - 海外との輸出入やサービスなどの取引を示す2月の経常収支は2兆760億円の黒字でした。黒字は44カ月連続です。 財務省によりますと、第一次所得収支は海外子会社からの収益が去年の同じ月より減少したものの、1兆9481億円の黒字でした。
