Apr 10 (NHK) - Japanese government officials have released data that measures the country's trade and investment with the rest of the world. They say the current account balance in February stayed in the black for the 44th straight month.
Finance Ministry officials say the current-account surplus stood at about 19.4 billion dollars.
The trade surplus for February came in at about 1.8 billion dollars.
Exports rose 0.9 percent.
Imports were up 17.8 percent.
