Japanese actor arrested on drug charge

Sep 09 (NHK) - Japanese actor Iseya Yusuke, who has starred in numerous movies and TV dramas, has been arrested by Tokyo police on suspicion of possessing marijuana.

Investigators said on Tuesday that they found cannabis in the 44-year-old actor's home in Tokyo.

Iseya made his acting debut in a film in 1999. He has since appeared in a number of movies and TV dramas, and has also directed films.

He won a supporting actor award from the Japan Academy Film Prize Association in 2012.
