Nikon loses appeal over sex slave photo exhibition

The Tokyo High Court on Thursday upheld a lower court ruling ordering Nikon Corp. to allow a South Korean photographer to use one of its facilities for an exhibition on the Imperial Japanese forces' wartime sex slavery.
Presiding Judge Takashi Saito said the contract Nikon signed with Ahn Se Hong to display around 40 photos of the Asian sex slaves, women and girls who were euphemistically called "comfort women" in Japan, at Nikon Salon hall in Tokyo's Shinjuku district was valid.
