Two senior Nagano prefectural police officers were arrested Friday morning on suspicion of leaking personal information listed on vehicle inspection certificates to a private research firm, according to the Aichi prefectural police.
The police also arrested an employee of the research company in Nagano Prefecture on suspicion of violating the Local Civil Service Law for allegedly enticing the police sergeants to give up the information.
