Omotesando gets first McCafe by Barista outlet

McDonald's Company (Japan) Ltd. on Monday opened its first cafe-style outlet, which will serve special brewed coffee and other products to compete with rivals such as Starbucks Co.
At the McCafe by Barista outlet that opened in Tokyo's posh Omotesando district in Shibuya Ward, customers can choose from different coffee and espresso drinks that will be brewed by barista and are offered in mugs and glasses. Various cakes, cookies and muffins will also be on the menu.
