Woman, daughter fatally stabbed by suspected stalker

A woman and her daughter were fatally stabbed in a suspected stalking-murder case here, police said, adding that the man allegedly behind the crime apparently attempted suicide.
Kazuyo Hanatsuka, 43, a restaurant worker, and her 19-year-old daughter Ayano were found stabbed in their apartment in Komaki, Aichi Prefecture, at around 5:10 p.m. on July 30. They were rushed to hospital but were pronounced dead. Shortly before the women were discovered, a man was found bleeding in a parking lot of the apartment complex.
