Stocks close 0.10% lower

Shares closed 0.10% lower on Tuesday with few trading cues as investors focused their attention on a European Central Bank (ECB) meeting and U.S. jobs data later in the week.
The benchmark Nikkei 225 index at the Tokyo Stock Exchange lost 8.38 points to 8,775.51, while the broader Topix index of all first-section shares declined 0.27%, or 1.94 points, to 726.69.
