Police said Tuesday that the mummified remains of three people have been discovered in a house in Toyama Prefecture.
Police called on the house in Namerikawa on Monday night after neighbors reported not having seen the residents for a while, TBS reported. Upon entering the house through a window, police discovered three bodies, believed to be those of the 78-year-old homeowner, his 40-year-old son and his 45-year-old daughter, in the living room.
