600 mil. yen theft suspect held in Cambodia

One of the alleged masterminds in a 600 million yen robbery case last year was detained Friday in Cambodia, according to investigative sources.
The suspect, a man in his 40s, was put on an international wanted list by the Metropolitan Police Department, and is to be transferred to Japan shortly.
About 600 million yen in cash was stolen from the Tachikawa, Tokyo, office of Nichigetsu Keibi Hosho, a security company headquartered in Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo, in May 2011.
