Body of man suspected of killing woman, son believed found on Nagano mountain

The body believed to be that of a man sought over the murder of a woman and her young son at their upscale Tokyo condominium has been found on a mountain here, police said on Sept. 17.
Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) investigators found the body believed to belong to a 61-year-old company president on a mountain in Chino, Nagano Prefecture, on Sept. 17. The man was living with Midori Sakaki, 38, and her 5-year-old son, Shunnosuke, before the bodies of Sakaki and her son were found at their apartment in Tokyo's Shibuya Ward on Sept. 13. Police subsequently issued an arrest warrant for the man and officers were trying to track his whereabouts.
