Osaka Mayor Toru Hashimoto, head of the fledgling Nippon Ishin no Kai (Japan Restoration Party), said Wednesday he will no longer speak to reporters from the daily Asahi Shimbun or Asahi Broadcasting Corp. as a protest over a story about him run by an Asahi weekly publication.
