Deer caught after romp in Sapporo residential district

A deer was caught in a Sapporo residential district on Monday after wandering around for nearly five hours.
According to police, the deer, about 1.5 meters long and weighing around 90 kilograms, was first spotted at around 4:30 a.m. in Teineku Ward near Route No. 5, NTV reported.
Police and city officials fired a tranquilizer to capture the deer and returned it to the mountain forest in the afternoon.
