Sailor in Okinawa rape drops his denial

One of two U.S. Navy sailors arrested last week for the alleged rape of a woman in Okinawa has reversed himself and made a statement owning up to the charge, sources said Monday.
But Seaman Christopher Browning, 23, said he does not remember the details of the incident because he was drunk at the time, sources close to the police investigation said.
