News On Japan via Japan Times -- Oct 31

Govinda Prasad Mainali, poised to be exonerated in the high-profile murder of a Tokyo woman in 1997, plans to publish a book depicting his almost 15 years spent in Yokohama Prison for a crime he had maintained throughout that he didn't commit.

Mainali, 46, who was freed in June and promptly deported to Nepal, has started writing the book, his 55-year-old brother, Indra, said. When he returned to Nepal, Mainali said he had been physically abused by prison guards.
