NTT DOCOMO Develops New PRADA-Branded Handset with LG

TOKYO, JAPAN, May 9, 2008 --- NTT DOCOMO, INC. and its regional companies announced today that they will begin marketing "PRADA Phone by LG", a full touch screen mobile phone for the Japanese market, from June.
The handset, already available in Europe and other countries/regions, has been redeveloped specifically for DOCOMO. Reflecting an attention to detail, uncompromising quality and technology nurtured in the global market, the sophistication and elegance of the new PRADA Phone by LG represents a logical evolution of the previous phone.
The PRADA concept is faithfully represented in a special leather case, accessories and custom-tailored screen graphics that accompany the handset.

NTT DOCOMO to Merge with Regional Subsidiaries

TOKYO, JAPAN, April 25, 2008 --- NTT DOCOMO, INC. and its regional companies in the Hokkaido, Tohoku, Tokai, Hokuriku, Kansai, Chugoku, Shikoku and Kyushu regions of Japan announced today an agreement that the eight wholly owned subsidiaries will merge into NTT DOCOMO, the surviving company, effective July 1. The agreement, after being approved by an extraordinary meeting of NTT DOCOMO's board of directors today, was signed by the participating parties.
NTT DOCOMO and its eight regional subsidiaries have successfully developed infrastructure and conducted community-based sales in each respective region since 1993. It was decided that the eight regional subsidiaries should merge into NTT DOCOMO, however, to better deal with the changing environment of mobile communications. The main objectives of the merger are to achieve:

To improve capital efficiency and to implement flexible capital policies in accordance with the business environment.

DoCoMo to Develop Operator Pack for FOMA Handsets

TOKYO, JAPAN, April 21, 2008 --- NTT DoCoMo, Inc. today announced that it will develop an operator pack for FOMA™ 3G handsets compatible with specifications established by the LiMo Foundation™. DoCoMo expects to begin introducing handsets equipped with the operator pack in the second half of 2009.
The pack will contain a suite of Linux® operating system-based software applications that implement i-mode™, i-appli™ and other unique DoCoMo services. It will make use of existing assets developed by DoCoMo, including application software and MOAP™ (Mobilephone Oriented Application Platform) middleware now used in selected DoCoMo handsets. The new operator pack will incorporate elements of a Linux-version MOAP that DoCoMo has developed with NEC Corporation and Panasonic Mobile Communications Co., Ltd.

DoCoMo Reveals New Corporate Logo

TOKYO, JAPAN, April 18, 2008 --- NTT DoCoMo, Inc. and its eight regional subsidiaries today unveiled the new DoCoMo corporate logo and other re-branding elements that will be introduced beginning July 1.
The new logo's color is red, which symbolizes the company's energy and dynamism. The logo, along with other branding elements, embodies DoCoMo's commitment to achieve customer satisfaction by understanding the needs of customers and building stronger relationships with them, and to maximize the creativity of the company's workforce and remain a leading innovator in the mobile communications industry.
The logo and new brand slogan — Unlimited Potential, in Your Hand — also express DoCoMo's commitment to offer high-quality, value-added mobile services and technologies that enhance human relationships and lifestyles.

TOKYO, JAPAN, April 1, 2008 --- NTT DoCoMo, Inc. announced today that interTouch Pte. Ltd., its wholly owned subsidiary in Singapore, has been renamed DoCoMo interTouch Pte. Ltd.
In January, DoCoMo interTouch wholly acquired Singapore-based MagiNet Pte. Ltd. to solidify its position as a premier Asia-Pacific provider of high-speed broadband connectivity services and video applications to the hospitality industry. DoCoMo interTouch now serves a total of 25 million hotel guests annually at approximately 1,000 hotels in 62 countries of Asia Pacific, Europe and the Middle East, with a growing presence in the Americas.

NTT DoCoMo Achieves 250Mbps Downlink in Super 3G Field Experiment — Key Step toward Realization of New High-Speed Mobile Network —

TOKYO, JAPAN, March 26, 2008 --- NTT DoCoMo, Inc. announced today that it has recorded a downlink transmission rate of 250Mbps over a high-speed wireless network in an outdoor test of an experimental Super 3G system for mobile communications.
DoCoMo has been field-testing and refining its experimental Super 3G system using an actual wireless environment near its R&D labs in Yokosuka, just south of Tokyo, since February. The test involves four Multiple-Input Multiple-Output (MIMO) antennas for base-station transmission and mobile-station reception in the 20MHz bandwidth, the maximum under new Super 3G standards.
DoCoMo is continuing to test connection handover from one base station to another, and the functionality of applications in indoor and outdoor environments.
