Sunday was the last day of lift operation in Niseko and although very cool it was a mostly fine day to see out the season. The run out to the base was just maintained by a thin ribbon of snow pushed up by the groomers but the skiing up top .....

The snow season turned out to be a goody with plenty of fresh snowfalls to keep the powder hounds amuzed and satisfied. The season was characterised by good stable weather systems and lift queues that were often descibed by visitors as non existent. We are now in the middle of .....

Hakuba is now in green mode as the last of the ski resorts have closed for the season. This winter season was a real return to the classic days of big snow in Hakuba. Lots of huge snowfalls and many many epic powder days to recall. With good late season .....

As I write this last report of the season there is just a few hours or so left on this final day - the last Gondola of the day is at 4:50pm. And what a day it has been. Temperatures are really up there once again - up .....

Perfect day for the last day of the ski season at Tenjin. Warm temperatures, bright sunshine and just a light breeze blowing. Just the one lift open today and quite a few people getting the last few turns of the season in before putting the gear away for the season. .....
