Light snowfalls continued yesterday and through part of the night maintaining the great surface conditions. This morning it is partly cloudy with a few lazy flakes falling in the village. The strong winds prevalent of late have died down and today opens to a beautiful bluebird sky with cold temperatures measured at -7 at 1800m and around -4 now in the valley. The lifts on the top are looking quite promising with fresh tracks for the early risers and less .....

Light cloud hangs over Nozawa this morning. No new snow fell in the village last night and only 3cm on Yamabiko. It is currently -8 degrees up the top, with a Northwesterly of around 15km/h making it feel more like -15. The snow depth has fallen a little .....

Yesterdays weather brought us quite a bit of powder snow all over the mountain, the top 2 man lift was open at Naeba in addition to all the usual lift operations. Conditions got quite bad towards the end of the day as the wind got stronger and caused white out .....

A clear blue sky day in Minakami this morning. Yesterdays snow did not amount to much more than 10cm at the valley level but some of the upper mountain fields received over 20cm. (Tenjin)
