Join ecologists and free minded Tokyo hippies for a yet another celebration of Earth Garden, one of the best known eco-conscious events in the capital. Bring your own cups and plates, or buy some at the venue for discounts. This year Earth Garden is collaborating with a festival that puts the beauty and culture of the Middle East and other Arab regions in the spotlight for two days. Enjoy various stage performances (belly dance, anyone?) henna art, an Arabian bazaar, plenty of mouth-watering nibbles (yes to authentic kebab) and even a chance for a selfie with a camel.
Goldfish have been familiar to the common people since the Edo period as one of the cooling symbols of summer in Japan. This exhibition will focus on the color and shape of goldfish alongside cute penguins. The works of aesthetic fishy imagery and illustrations will not only capture the beauty of summer but also cool us down during the hot and humid weather.
