In this Japan feed tour, I'll take you to some Yatai Food Stall hitters, throw down on a Hakata creamy pork ramen, demolish some scrumptious iron pan fried gyoza and much much more. You haven’t truly experienced Hakata if you’ve never been to Yatai, aka a mobile food stall. There are 105 stalls in the area and Fukuoka is the only city in Japan where it’s thriving as their local regulations permit and support this unique food culture. Hence, you don’t really see Yatai Food Carts in cities like Tokyo.

Japan Looks to Limit Continuous Work

Japan's Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare's advisory panel has outlined a proposal for amending the law to prohibit working more than 14 consecutive days. Under the current system, workers can technically work up to 48 days in a row through a system known as 'four-day-off-per-four-weeks,' while labor agreements also allow for holiday work, meaning there are no effective restrictions on consecutive workdays.
