Re:Zero: Subaru's Peaceful Days End with a Mysterious Invitation

Nov 13 (News On Japan) - 'Re:Zero − Starting Life in Another World' follows the story of Subaru Natsuki, an ordinary young man who is unexpectedly transported to a fantastical world while on his way home from the convenience store.

Without any special powers or abilities, Subaru initially struggles to navigate this new world. However, he discovers that he has a mysterious power: the ability to "Return by Death." Every time he dies, Subaru is sent back to a specific point in time, allowing him to alter the course of events and try again.

As Subaru begins to uncover the mysteries of this world, he forms bonds with a cast of complex characters, including the half-elf Emilia, who is vying for the throne in the Royal Selection. Throughout his journey, Subaru faces relentless dangers, including the deadly Witch Cult, powerful enemies, and intricate political schemes.

A year had passed since the liberation of the Sanctuary, where they had repelled the fierce attacks of Elsa and others, and Al had fulfilled his contract with Beatrice in the battle against the Great Rabbit.

Emilia's camp was united as they prepared for the Royal Selection, and Subaru had been living a fulfilling life. However, their peace was abruptly shattered when a letter arrived from a messenger.

The letter was an invitation from Anastasia, one of the Royal Selection candidates, addressed to Emilia, inviting her to the water-gate city of Priesterra, one of the five major cities of Lugunica.

Accepting the invitation, Subaru and his companions journeyed to Priesterra, where they were greeted by a series of reunions. Some were unexpected, some unintentional, and some were inevitable. Beneath the surface, malice stirred, and an unprecedented crisis loomed.

Once again, the young man would face a harsh fate.
