「次世代半導体」開発する新会社 国内主要8社が設立
Nov 11, (ANNnewsCH) - 自動運転やAI（人工知能）などに使われる次世代の半導体を国内で量産するため、日本の主要企業8社が新会社を設立したことが分かりました。
関係者によりますと、新会社の名前は「Rapidus」で、トヨタ自動車、ソニーグループ、NTTなど8社が共同で出資します。
新会社では、回路の幅が2ナノメートル以下の次世代半導体の研究開発を進め、5年後の量産化を目指します。
政府は補助金などを通じて支援することにしていて、11日にも西村経産大臣が発表する見通しです。
