Japan Post stamp sets commemorate Ohtani's homerun title

Oct 03 (NHK) - Japan Post is marking Ohtani Shohei's homerun title in the American League this season by releasing a set of commemorative stamps and postcards.

The sets are priced at 7,260 yen, or about 48.5 dollars. There are five stamps showing some of Ohtani's most memorable round-trippers.

They include this season's 23rd that marked the 150th of his Major League Baseball career. Also depicted is a homer that flew around 150 meters, the longest distance this season in the MLB.

The 44 postcards each depict the two-way star at bat when hitting home runs.

Photo boards bearing Ohtani's autographs are also included.
