Tim Putra dan Putri Jepang Memastikan Lolos Kualifikasi Olimpiade di Osaka

Nov 20 (asiarugby.com) - Ada kegembiraan tersendiri bagi Jepang saat tim putra dan putri menjadi tim yang lolos ke kualifikasi regional terakhir untuk Olimpiade Paris 2024 dengan kemenangan di turnamen kualifikasi Asia Rugby di Osaka.

Kedua tim berkompetisi di Olimpiade rugbi tujuh besar perdana di Rio pada tahun 2016 dan hadir kembali sebagai tuan rumah di Tokyo pada tahun 2021, dan mereka sekarang akan melengkapi hat-trick penampilan di ibu kota Prancis tahun depan.

Tim putri menjadi yang pertama lolos dengan kemenangan 21-14 atas Cina sebelum tim putra melakukan comeback dramatis untuk mengalahkan Hong Kong Cina dengan skor yang sama.
