FamilyMart Mulai Mengenakan Biaya untuk Sendok dan Garpu

TOKYO, Jan 22 (News On Japan) - FamilyMart, salah satu jaringan minimarket terbesar di Jepang, akan mulai mengenakan biaya 6-yen untuk sendok dan garpu plastik mulai tanggal 29 Januari.

Sekitar 100 toko yang dioperasikan secara langsung di seluruh Jepang akan mulai mengenakan biaya untuk enam item termasuk sendok, garpu, dan sedotan plastik.

Harga sendok atau garpu akan ditetapkan sebesar 6 yen, sedangkan sendok dan sedotan makanan penutup akan dikenakan biaya 4 yen.

Inisiatif ini diharapkan dapat mengurangi penggunaan plastik sekitar 4 ton per tahun.

FamilyMart telah mengambil langkah untuk mengurangi sampah plastik, sebelumnya mereka telah beralih ke sendok ringan dengan lubang di gagangnya.
