Jun 25 (News On Japan) - Kazuyoshi Miura, affectionately known as 'Kazu,' a former forward for Japan's national soccer team, has decided to join Atletico Suzuka in the Japan Football League (JFL).
The club announced on Tuesday that Miura, 57, will be joining on a temporary transfer from J2's Yokohama FC, which holds his contract. This move marks his return to Suzuka after a year and a half, having last played for the team before its management overhaul in 2022. Miura is expected to break his own records as the oldest scorer and appearance holder in JFL history.
