In the semifinals, 26-year-old Abe triumphed in the overtime match, advancing to the finals.
In the final, he initially gained a lead with a waza-ari, followed by a spectacular ippon win with a sode tsurikomi goshi.
Abe has remained undefeated since the Tokyo Olympics, achieving the extraordinary feat of winning back-to-back Olympic gold medals over three years.
