Akita Alvark's New Home Stadium Opens to Public

TOKYO, Aug 29 (News On Japan) - Toyota Arena Tokyo, the new home stadium for B1 B-League Division 1 (B1) team Alvark Tokyo, completed in Aomi, Tokyo, was unveiled to the press on the 28th.

The stadium can accommodate approximately 10,000 spectators for basketball games. Its oval seating arrangement ensures a good view from any seat. Kai Toews, a member of the Japanese national team at the Paris Olympics, commented, "This is the best arena for basketball in Japan. I can't wait to play a game here." The stadium will be in use starting with the B1 season opener against Utsunomiya on October 3rd.
