OSAKA, Oct 06 (News On Japan) - A special event was held at the Osaka-Kansai Expo venue where visitors could experience a professional basketball game broadcast in real time using advanced technology.
The match, originally played in Kobe, was transmitted live to the Expo site through a next-generation system called IOWN, which reduces video transmission delay to just one-two-hundredth of conventional levels, allowing spectators to watch the game almost as if it were happening right in front of them.
Further innovations were incorporated into the seating area, where even the seat cushions were designed to enhance the immersive viewing experience.
