JTB Unveils Special WBC Tour

TOKYO, Mar 10 (News On Japan) - JTB on March 10th unveiled to the media the details of a special viewing tour for Japan’s games in the World Baseball Classic (WBC), held at Tokyo Dome.

In addition to game tickets, the package included meals served in a lounge as well as special events such as photo sessions with former players who have competed in Major League Baseball.

The price of the tour reached as high as 495,000 yen, but the package has already sold out.

Demand for such premium sports viewing tours is rising worldwide, and they are increasingly being used as opportunities to strengthen business relationships.

JTB said it plans to further expand tours tied to international sporting events in the future.
