Jun 17, 2017 (the-japan-news.com) - Ireland scored seven tries on the way to a convincing 50-22 victory over 2019 World Cup hosts Japan at the Ecopa Stadium in Fukuroi, Shizuoka Prefecture, in the first match of a two-test series on Saturday.

The Irish, who will meet Japan in the pool stage when the World Cup comes to Asia for the first time, also got 13 points from the boot of Paddy Jackson and reached the 50-point mark for a second consecutive game after their 55-19 demolition of the United States last week.
