Aug 11 (Japan Today) - Police in Tokyo said Thursday they have arrested a 33-year-old woman on suspicion of murder after a man found in her apartment in Chiyoda Ward, died from stab wounds.
According to police, the woman, Seikin Okuma, called 110 at around 12:15 a.m. and said she had stabbed a man in her apartment, and asked them to come quickly, Sankei Shimbun reported. Police rushed to the apartment in Kandatacho and found Kazumasa Kurobe, 45, lying on the floor, bleeding from a stab wound to the chest. He was taken to hospital where he died about one hour later.
Okuma was quoted by police as saying she and Kurobe got into an argument and that she lost her temper and stabbed him with a kitchen knife. However, she said she didn't mean to kill him.
