Aug 13 (Japan Today) - Three workmen fell to their deaths at a building construction site in Tokyo's Marunouchi district on Friday.
According to police, the incident occurred at around 4:30 p.m. while they were working on the 5th floor of a high-rise office building under construction, Fuji TV reported.
Police said one of the men, 51, was installing a steel floor panel as the base for a wall when he lost his footing and fell down an elevator well with two panels. Police said he apparently hit two other workmen, aged 41 and 48, and all three fell about 25 meters down to third floor basement level.
