Apr 08 (Japan Today) - Police arrested a 38-year-old male relative Saturday after three people were found dead in a house in the southwestern prefecture of Kagoshima.
Tomohiro Iwakura is suspected of strangling Hiroyuki Goto, 47, on Friday afternoon. Iwakura admitted to the charge and indicated his involvement in the murder of the other two people, Takako Iwakura, 69, and her 72-year-old sister Kuniko Sakaguchi. None of the three victims lived in the house.
Takako's 89-year-old mother-in-law and 68-year-old son who lived in the house in Hioki city are missing.
The police believe Iwakura, who is the missing man's son, knows their whereabouts.
According to the police, after learning that his brother had not shown up for work for several days, the missing woman's oldest son asked his wife Takako to go to the house Friday to check on his brother and mother.
