May 10 (Japan Today) - A 28-year-old woman suffered a fractured skull after she was attacked by an unknown man at the entrance to her apartment in Sapporo.
According to police, the incident occurred at around 9:15 p.m. on Monday in Chuo Ward. Hokkaido Shimbun reported that the woman was beaten several times on the back of her head with a blunt instrument in the bicycle parking lot in front of her apartment building’s entrance. The suspect quickly fled the scene.
Police said the woman was taken to hospital and was in a stable condition on Wednesday.
The man is said to be approximately 165 centimeters tall, of medium build and was wearing dark-colored pants.
