Jul 05 (NHK) - The Bank of Japan Governor has expressed optimism about the country's economy going forward. He believes continued monetary easing and stimulus will support a recovery as the effects of the pandemic wane.
At an online meeting of the BOJ's regional branch managers, Kuroda Haruhiko said the domestic economy is picking up despite the ongoing impact of the coronavirus.
Kuroda noted that some companies have difficulty securing funds, but he said the overall monetary environment is accommodating.
