China urges Japan not to mislead younger generations: MOFA

Aug 28 (CGTN) - The Ministry of Defense of Japan released for the first time a defense white paper for elementary and middle school students that Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Zhao Lijian said contains unreasonable criticism of China.

He expressed China's firm opposition to this move on Friday. "The Japanese side should earnestly face up to and reflect on history, learn lessons from history, and refrain from taking wrong actions to mislead its people, especially the next generation," Zhao Lijian said.
