Nov 13 (NHK) - Toyota Motor says it will resume full-scale production at its Japanese factories in December. The automaker has been running scaled back operations for seven months.
Toyota said on Friday all 28 production lines at its 14 domestic plants will be running normally next month.
The company has been forced to slash domestic output due to disruptions in its supply chains in Southeast Asia caused by coronavirus outbreaks.
But Toyota says the situation has improved and is now ramping up production to make up for losses.
The auto giant says its global production will reach about 800,000 units in December, a record output for the month.
