Tokyo reports 11 new COVID cases, no deaths

Dec 02 (NHK) - The Tokyo Metropolitan Government reported 11 new cases of the coronavirus in the capital on Thursday, a decrease of 16 from a week ago.

The daily tally in Tokyo has remained below 50 for 47 straight days, and under 30 for 21 days.

The seven-day average through Thursday stands at 15. That is 98 percent of the figure shown in the previous week.

Officials say four patients are in serious condition, unchanged from Wednesday.

On Thursday, no deaths from the coronavirus were confirmed in the capital.
