Mar 09 (playstationlifestyle.net) - Nintendo Switch has dominated the Japan console market for five years, but it seems like that might be set to change after PS5 sales beat Switch for the first time ever.
Sales of the PS5 console in Japan have increased dramatically year upon year thanks to improved supplies now there is no longer a chronic component shortage.
In February 2023, PS5 sales were up by 457% in Japan compared to those of February 2022. The PS5 sold 65,772 units in February 2022, but this had increased to a massive 366,982 units in February 2023 according to figures from Famitsu (translated by @Genki_JPN).
