TOKYO, May 09 (bolnews.com) - Four individuals were arrested in Tokyo on Monday after they broke into a high-end watch store in the Ginza district, stealing items worth over $740,000, according to local media.
The robbery, which involved three masked individuals wielding crowbars to break glass cases, is considered rare in Japan due to its low crime rate. The thieves managed to take over 30 items worth more than ¥100 million.
According to NHK, four individuals were arrested and one suspect is still at large following a robbery at a luxury watch shop in Tokyo's Ginza district.
