OSAKA, Nov 30 (NHK) - Advance admission tickets for the 2025 World Exposition in Osaka, western Japan, went on sale on Thursday, 500 days before the opening.
Digital tickets with a QR code are now available on the website of the Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition.
Visitors who purchase one-day tickets during the Expo will have to pay 7,500 yen, or about 51 dollars. A one-day ticket bought after October 7, 2024, will cost 6,700 yen, but the same ticket purchased before that date is discounted to 6,000 yen.
A ticket that allows one-time entry during the first three months of the Expo is being sold for 5,000 yen. A one-time entry ticket that can be used during the first two weeks is 4,000yen.
The six-month Expo will open on April 13, 2025 on Yumeshima island in Osaka City.
