"The Silent Don" Returns: A Look into the Future

TOKYO, Feb 05 (News On Japan) - A new series of the mega-hit work that sold over 46 million copies, "The Silent Don: Another Final Chapter," depicting the world 10 years after "The Silent Don," will be released on February 15th.

The curtain rises again on the legendary stage! Shizuya Kondo, the third-generation leader of the Shinsengumi, exchanged ceremonial cups with the Onishu group for the ideal of eliminating yakuza from the world. Ten years have passed since then. As society undergoes drastic changes, new "enemies" begin to stir, and the men who had each followed their own paths once again confront them! The once 10,000-strong Shinsengumi has now fallen below 2,000 members. However, as the number of yakuza decreases, groups such as half-crime organizations and special fraud groups are spreading. And behind them is――!? The first volume of the new chapter also depicts the encounters and pasts of Naruto and Ryuho, who support Shizuya.
