The wife, Hagino, moves into a second-hand detached house with her husband and daughter, Moeka. For her, who had an unfortunate upbringing, this was the happy family life she had dreamed of. However, one day, while Hagino was out, she received a distressing call from her daughter, Moeka, begging for help. "Please buy a shortcake and cola," she said. Rushing home, Hagino found her house in disarray, Moeka with her clothes torn to shreds, and an unknown girl straddling Moeka, clutching large scissors. The girl's name was Chi-chan.
