OSAKA, Jul 15 (News On Japan) - Osaka Prefectural Police have issued a new directive urging all officers to wear sunglasses to protect themselves from the heat and sunlight.
On July 12, Osaka Prefectural Police announced that all officers should use sunglasses and cooling towels to cope with the heat. This directive follows a notification from the National Police Agency in April. Officers are responsible for providing their own sunglasses and are instructed to avoid wearing those with flashy colors or unusual designs.
