27-Year-Old Grandson Wanted for Triple Murder

SHIZUOKA, Jul 29 (News On Japan) - Japanese police have made public the name and photograph of the 27-year-old suspect wanted for the murder of three people in a residence in Kikugawa City, Shizuoka Prefecture.

The suspect, Koichi Katayama, 27, whose address and occupation are unknown, is approximately 165 cm tall and of medium build.

Shoichi Shibuya and Ikuko Shibuya, grandparents of the suspect, along with his aunt Rumiko, were found murdered in their home in Kikugawa City on July 28th. Katayama is believed to be involved in the crime.

After committing the crime, Katayama fled the scene on foot and his whereabouts are currently unknown.

Police have issued a public warrant and are widely appealing for information.
