HOKKAIDO, Aug 03 (News On Japan) - The Asahikawa District Public Prosecutors Office on Friday indicted a 19-year-old unemployed woman living in Asahikawa City for murder and other charges related to the death of a high school girl in April of this year.
According to the indictment, the woman, in conspiracy with already-indicted Riko Uchida, 21, abducted a 17-year-old high school girl from Rumoi City to the vicinity of Kamui Ohashi in Asahikawa City by car. There, they forced her to sit on the bridge railing, telling her to "fall" and "die," before pushing her off the bridge, resulting in her death.
Sources indicate that a video of the woman attempting to push the high school girl off the bridge has surfaced.
Investigators report that the woman denies the charges.
